Eric's House is a day facility for adults with disabilities. Through daily outings such as swimming or a visit to the local park, the program aims to empower its clients with the assistance and confidence needed to access their community. Capturing these community outings & in-house programming allowed family & friends, community partners, and prospective clients to see the benefits Eric's House has to offer. Eric's House requested a strong presence on social media channels with a focus on Facebook & Instagram, including frequent posting with insightful relevant copy. Recently the management team and I conducted a website revamp where the website was completed modernized and copy was updated to capture the company's current goals and trajectory.

A colleague of mine and I decided to start a freelance agency helping & educating small businesses in and around Calgary. Our goal was to provide the education as well as the resources necessary for the mom-and-pop shops to begin developing their business own digital persona. Working with companies such as Mr. Volvo, rock chip rescue, and Alberta Drain Pro's we were able to familiarize business owners with organic posting, minor website alterations, and introduce them to the world of paid media.

I graduated from Mount Royal University (MRU) with a Degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurship/ Innovation. My time at MRU was impactful in many ways, the first being time spent in class collaborating on different projects and assignments with my peers. Another takeaway from my studies at MRU was the in-depth digital approach to marketing my professors prioritized. Many of my courses focused on web design, social media engagement, and optimizing a brand's online presence. As a class, we discussed the new age of marketing, highlighting the benefits of a brand's online identity. However, the most impactful portion of my degree came from the practical experiences during my COOP work term. My mentor provided me with tasks in which I applied lessons learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Experience creating website graphics, interpreting and presenting analytics/reports furthered my interest and drive to pursue a marketing career.

My Interests
Aviation - You can often find me at the EL Viewing Area watching the planes come in on final. Photographing, tracking and collecting model planes has been a lifelong passion.
Community Accessibility - Working at Eric's House has fuelled my passion for creating inclusive communities.. This includes actively finding ways to promote equal access for people with varying abilities.
Travel - Seeing the sights and meeting new people; the rush associated with being somewhere new is simply unmatched. Whether it be just a short weekend getaway or a 3-week Europe adventure, I can't seem to get enough of the pre-trip butterflies.
